During the beginning of his career, Grant hosted BBC Scotland schools broadcast, ‘See You See Me.' He then hosted the Scottish television program, ‘Wemyss Bay 902101’ in 1993. He presented the first three season of BBC Scotland weekday’s children show, ‘Fully Booked.' Later, he entered STV in the August 2006 and co-anchored ‘Sportsort’ with Andy Walker.
