Amy Willerton is an English beauty pageant winner, best known as the Miss Universe Great Britain in 2013. She came into limelight after she won Miss Bristol 2010 at the age of 17. After long rumors of their engagement, Amy and his beau, Daniel finally got engaged.
Three years after their rumors, the love-duo officiated their engagement in April 2019. Daniel bent down on his both knees, pulled out a box from his pocket containing the ring and proposed her during their romantic ski holiday to the Alps. She was more than happy to say yes to him, but she made him propose to her twice because she was not sure if getting on both knees was valid or not.
And for the second time, she wanted him to do it traditionally, and he did propose to her on one knee.
Later, Amy confirmed the happy news with Hello Magazine. While speaking with the interviewer, she said;
“The second time around I made him do it on one knee because I didn’t know if proposing on both knees counted.”
She was previously in an affair with TOWIE star Joe Essex in 2013. They met during an Australian version of the show; I’m A Celebrity…. Get Me Out Of Here. She expressed her regret of dating him in an interview in October of 2014 where she mentioned that she wanted to date a regular boyfriend. Moreover, she was also linked with businessman Rob Gough, and she even had a dinner date with him in Aruba in early 2014.
