Aron Ralston is an American actor, writer, and director known for his biography movie 127 Hours, animation-comedy The Simpsons and comedy TV series Tosh.0. He is also outdoorsman, motivational speaker, and rock climber who had to amputate his arm after a fatal rock climbing accident.
His autobiography Between a Rock and a Hard Place was turned into the movie named 127 hours in 2010 where James Franco portrayed his character.

His girlfriend, Vita, became media attention due to her controversies. She was arrested in December of 2013 due to a domestic incident involving Aron's children and their daughter. She was charged with assault in suspicion that she punched her boyfriend in the back of the head.
The prosecutors dropped the assault charges in February of 2014 when Aron didn’t show up in court to testify against her. The pair were reportedly arguing about Aron’s son Leo who he had with his ex-wife Jessica. His well-known hiking accident on 26 April 2003 pinned him a canyon for five days in a remote desert in eastern Utah. He had to use a pocket knife to amputate his arm to free himself from a boulder weighing 800-1000 pounds.
