Eva Lago might not have earned the title and fortune of $1 million in the finale of ‘World of Dance’ on Tuesday but has evidently won millions of hearts with her exceptional performances throughout the show. No doubt, she poured her heart out for the finale but couldn’t beat the competitive French brothers, Laurent and Larry Bourgeois known collectively as Les Twins. She is an American dancer who previously danced in the renowned Larkin Dance Studio in Maplewood, Minnesota.

Eva Igo was enlisted by the ‘World of Dance’ producers to audition after they saw the excellent videos of her dancing on her Instagram account. During the ‘Qualifiers,' she earned the average score 88 from the show’s judges, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez and Derek Hough and made to the next round. She then successfully scored 89 in the ‘Battle Round’ and 92.5 during the ‘The Cut’ challenge.
Similarly, in the ‘Divisional final,' she scored 96.7 and became the champion beating out Diana Pombo. In the world finale held on 8 August 2017, the dancer received 91 and 93.5 respectively in two phases where she performed solo on ‘In The Air Tonight’ and ‘Alive.' She did receive a lot of praise from the judges but couldn’t compete for the score of twin French dancers which was 93.8.
Eva previously featured as a guest artist in season 3 the episode of ‘Dance Moms’ named ‘Camouflaged Maneuvers’ and competed against the Abby Lee’s team.
