However, Matteo took everyone by surprise despite his extreme shy nature and stunned the audience with his breathtaking performance.
Matteo's step-mother Veronica said that she didn't think he would perform, but Matteo gave it all and went on to the stage. She also added that she felt touched by the fact that he chose to perform in order to overcome his shyness.
