Eventually, she was cast in the lead role of Becky Monroe in the Paramount TV series, When the Street Lights Go On- which aired on Hulu in 2017. In 2018, she played in the film Assassination Nation. Odessa is also credited for acting in the movie, A Million Little Pieces (2018), opposite Charlie Hunnam and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The movie was screened at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.
